No-Repeat Group Mixer

Form groups while avoiding past pairings.

Form random groups week after week without putting the same people together every time. The mixer remembers who has already worked together and steers new groupings to keep them fresh. It's built for recurring classes, study circles, and team standups where variety keeps things interesting.

Frequently asked questions

How does it avoid repeats?

Past pairings are saved locally on your device. The tool generates many random groupings and keeps the one with the fewest repeated pairs.

Where is my pairing history stored?

Only in your browser on the device you're using. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so clearing your browser data resets the history.

Is the grouping actually random?

Yes. Each candidate grouping is drawn with the Web Crypto API for unbiased randomness; we just prefer the option that minimizes past pairings.
