Frequently asked questions
How long should I write?
There are no rules. Five minutes or five hours — the prompt is just a starting point you can take wherever you like.
Can I combine two prompts?
Yes. Open Options and check "Combine two" to get a mashup of two seeds for a more surprising starting point.
Are prompts repeated or truly random?
Each prompt is drawn at random using the Web Crypto API, so the selection is unbiased and you can keep rolling for something new.
Does my writing get sent anywhere?
The tool runs entirely in your browser and only generates prompts; nothing you write or generate is uploaded to a server.
