Random Minecraft Challenge Generator

Random Minecraft challenge, timed.

Bored of vanilla survival? Draw one of 88 Minecraft challenges split evenly across survival, build, combat, and exploration, and optionally attach a 1–180 minute time limit. Streamers use timed builds as viewer challenges, parents set them for family SMP nights, and speedrun-style players race the countdown. Each of the four categories tracks repeats separately, so a build-only session never rehashes a challenge.

Questions fréquentes

How long can the time limit be?

Anywhere from 1 to 180 minutes, with a 20-minute default. The limit is displayed alongside the challenge; you run the actual countdown in-game or on a phone.

How many challenges are in each category?

22 each in survival, build, combat, and exploration — 88 in total. Choosing Any draws from all four pools at once.

Do the challenges require a specific Minecraft version?

No. They're written around core mechanics — shelter, farming, bridges, mob fights — that work across versions and platforms without depending on any single update's features.

How do I run this as a race with friends?

Draw one challenge, copy it into your group chat, agree on a time limit, and start together. No-repeat memory is per browser, so use one person's draw for everyone.

What's the difference between this and strat roulette?

Strat roulette hands out handicaps for shooter matches in games like Valorant and CS2; this tool gives self-contained Minecraft goals. Both work well back-to-back on stream.
