Questions fréquentes

What does the per-person minutes setting do?

It prints a cumulative time mark next to each name in the shuffled order, so you can see when each speaker's slot ends and how long the whole session runs. It is a printed schedule, not a countdown timer.

Can I prove the order wasn't rigged?

Yes. Agree on a seed with the group before shuffling. The same seed and the same list always produce the identical order, so anyone can re-run it themselves and verify nothing was manipulated.

Is the shuffle fair to whoever is listed first?

Yes. Input position doesn't matter: the tool runs a Fisher-Yates shuffle driven by crypto.getRandomValues, so every possible speaking order is equally likely regardless of how the names were typed in.

How do I send the lineup to the team?

Use Copy to grab the order as plain text for chat, Share link to give someone a URL that restores your list and options, or Export CSV to download the result as a spreadsheet file.

Will my list still be here next week?

Yes. The list is saved in your browser's local storage as you type, so a recurring standup or class opens with the same names already loaded — just shuffle again for a fresh order.
