Veelgestelde vragen

How many debate topics are there?

90 in total: 30 school topics written for classroom rounds, 30 funny topics for casual groups, and 30 classic motions on long-running questions. Each category is drawn from separately.

Which category should I use with students?

The school category is written to be classroom-safe and age-appropriate. Funny suits parties and icebreakers, while classic covers the traditional, more serious motions you'd expect in formal debate.

Can this set up a whole debate round?

Yes. Draw the motion here, then open the debate pairer to randomly assign opponents and sides. Together the two tools set up a complete impromptu round in under a minute.

Will the same topic come up twice in one class?

Not with no-repeats on. The tool remembers used topics for each category in your browser and only recycles once all 30 topics in that category have appeared.

Can I keep the topics I drew for a lesson plan?

Every draw stays in the history list under the result, and you can copy a topic or export it as CSV to paste straight into your planning document.
