Which sports and formations are included?
Soccer uses an 11-player 4-4-2 shape (keeper, back four, midfield four, two wide forwards), basketball the standard five, baseball all nine fielding positions, and volleyball a six-player lineup with setter, hitters, middle blockers, and opposite.
What happens when I have more players than positions?
The lineup is filled first and everyone left over is listed as the bench below the table, in random order too, so you can rotate substitutes in without accusations of favoritism.
What if I have fewer players than the sport needs?
Every player still receives a position, and unfilled slots are marked with a placeholder so you can see at a glance which positions are uncovered. For small turnouts, switching to basketball's five-player lineup often fits better.
Can it weight assignments by skill?
No. Assignments are a straight random shuffle with no skill input — that's what makes them argument-free. If you want sides balanced by ability, the Team Balancer on this site is built for that job instead.
How do I re-roll if someone objects?
Click Assign positions again. Every click performs a fresh unbiased shuffle of the whole roster, and earlier lineups remain in the History list in case you want to go back to one.
