Random Debate / Pro-Con Pairer
Pair speakers and pick a side.
The Random Debate / Pro-Con Pairer matches up speakers into pairs and randomly assigns each one a pro or con side. It's built for classrooms, debate clubs, and workshops where you want students to argue positions they didn't choose. By flipping sides at random, debaters get practice defending both viewpoints over the course of a term.

Frequently asked questions
Are sides random or assigned?
Random — each pair gets a coin-flip for pro versus con, so debaters end up arguing both sides over time.
What if I have an odd number of people?
The leftover person is shown separately and can serve as a solo presenter or judge.
How fair is the matching?
Pairings and side assignments use the browser's Web Crypto API for cryptographically sound, unbiased results.
Do my participant names get stored online?
No. The pairer runs entirely in your browser and works offline, so names are never sent anywhere.
